The kit for a car that still gets driven every day. ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with their most popular street disc — a combination built around drivability rather than chasing the highest possible clamp number.

Heavy Duty pressure plates use ACT's exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life, with every diaphragm going through a four-stage heat-treating process. Precision cover stampings give the assembly rigidity and consistency. Clamp load comes in 20 to 50 percent over OEM.

The Performance street disc is premium organic with high copper content for better heat transfer, and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. Reduced marcel gives faster shift action. The result is light to moderate pedal feel with smooth engagement and quiet operation.

Monoloc is included. It's a one-piece replacement for the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring used in pull-type clutches, providing uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate so alignment stays correct regardless of driver influence or how the car's been modified.

Rated to 522 lb-ft. 24-spline on a 1.000" input shaft. Every assembly is 100 percent clamp load tested and computer spin balanced to within .25 oz-in, versus roughly .50 for a stock production clutch.

Fitment: 04-21 Subaru WRX STI, 07-09 Legacy GT Spec B. Legacy GT Spec B applications need the STI flywheel to run this clutch.

Pedal effort increases 15 to 40 percent over stock. ACT is direct about why: clutches developed with less pedal effort tend to give up longevity, torque capacity, or engagement quality.

Break-in: 300-500 miles of mild stop-and-go driving before spirited use. Organic discs glaze if you overheat them before the facings seat.
