ACT XACT Prolite Flywheel — K-Series, 8.5 lb (600125)

ACT's lightest flywheel offering with the lowest inertia, designed for best throttle response and acceleration. Chromoly steel, CAD and FEA designed, heat-treated forging with an induction-hardened ring gear.

One-piece construction with an integral ring gear. Less opportunity for failure, uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc, and no warped inserts or loose ring gears at high RPM. Material is distributed for maximum strength, heat tolerance, and rigidity rather than simply removed.

Preferred for road racing and rally, with reduced drivability. ACT is direct about that trade. Dramatically improved engine response and acceleration, with mild to moderate gear rattle. Losing this much rotating mass means less inertia off the line — you'll give it more throttle from a stop and be more deliberate with the clutch, particularly on a hill.

Serviceable and resurfaceable like a stock flywheel, no special process and no additional parts needed.

Specs: 8.5 lbs, 119-tooth ring gear, chromoly steel, SFI 1.1 rated. Internal engine balance.

Fitment: 01-05 Honda Civic, 06-11 Civic Si, 06-11 Civic Type R, 02-06 Acura RSX Base and Type-S, 04-08 Acura TSX.

Verify the flywheel step. The step is the distance between the friction surface and the pressure plate mounting point, and it determines the working range of the pressure plate. If the ACT clutch is designated as part of a conversion kit, it must be used with the corresponding ACT flywheel.
