The gauge-less version of AEM's X-Series wideband — a weather-resistant, low-profile enclosure with status LEDs that mounts anywhere in or outside the car. Built for people who don't want another gauge in the dash but need accurate AFR for datalogging or closed-loop feedback with a standalone ECU.

Response time is the reason to pick this one. Patented X-Digital wideband technology reads and reports values other controllers don't, and the high-speed digital implementation means no loss of signal fidelity and full transient response — it catches the slightest fluctuations in AFR and outputs them at full value. In independent testing against 17 competitor wideband UEGO controllers, the X-Series recorded the fastest response time.

That matters for a specific reason: deadtime is the delay between when exhaust gas composition actually changes and when the sensor reports it. Less deadtime means better wideband feedback control, and a safer, more accurate tune.

Outputs: 0-5V analog for any ECU or logger, RS232, and AEMnet CAN. Multiple controllers can be daisy-chained on AEMnet for up to 16 cylinders.

Supports system voltage up to 16V. Works on EFI, carbureted, and dyno applications, and on gasoline, methanol, ethanol, diesel, propane, and CNG.

Factory calibrated — the calibration resistor eliminates the need for free-air calibration out of the box, though you can run it as the sensor ages.

Includes the controller and a Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor.
