The SX-R is BorgWarner's latest update to the S300 line, made in the USA at their Arden, NC facility. The new compressor wheel architecture improves aerodynamics, flow, power, and efficiency across the map width without giving up spool — and the smaller rotor group delivers reduced inertia and faster time to boost than similarly sized rotor groups.

Extended-tip technology is what makes that possible: the increased airflow of a larger compressor wheel with the lower mass of a smaller, low-inertia one. Forged milled billet compressor wheel, black anodized, which adds appearance and prevents corrosion.

Specs: 84mm compressor wheel with 64mm inducer, 76.20mm turbine wheel OD with 67.56mm exducer. 360-degree thrust bearing for durability under high boost. Supports 1,000+ hp. Compressor cover has an integrated speed sensor port and a pre-machined boost port, with flexible outlet orientation.

Interchangeable with existing SX and SX-E turbine housings, so you can change the A/R later without changing the core — that upgradability is the reason to buy a supercore rather than a complete turbo.

This is a supercore, not a complete turbo. The assembly is the compressor cover attached to the cartridge, plus all cartridge-to-turbine-housing mounting hardware, clamp plates, cap screws, and mounting gaskets. You supply the turbine housing and pick the A/R that suits your engine and goal.
