BC's premier connecting rod, and the fastener is the reason. ARP Custom Age 625+ is rated to 280,000 psi — the ultimate clamping ability at high horsepower and RPM, and the reason this rod carries the rating it does.

Rated in excess of 300 hp per cylinder, which puts it comfortably around 900 hp on a four. This is intended for the hardcore enthusiast and racer, not a mild street build.

Made from aerospace grade 4340 chromoly steel, delivering the reliability required to turn up the boost, the nitrous, or the RPM range. Every rod is CNC machined, given a micropolished surface finish treatment, equipped with aluminum/silicone/bronze pin bushings, and finish honed to exacting tolerances.

Specs: 5.366" center-to-center, 2.008" big end bore, .896" big end width, .866" (22mm) pin bore, .858" pin end width. 580 grams. 17mm width bearing. Bushed for a full-floating piston pin.

Fitment: Nissan SR20DE and SR20DET — 240SX, 180SX, 200SX, Silvia S13/S14/S15, Sentra.

Verify your bearing width before ordering. This is the 17mm configuration, and SR20 rods come both ways — the wrong width means the bearing doesn't match the journal.

The fastener is the decision. The same rod is available with ARP2000 hardware (BC6209) rated to roughly 700 hp. If you're building past that, the 625+ is what carries it.
