The right call for a mildly modified STI that's outgrown the factory clutch but still gets driven on the street. Up to 80 percent increase in torque capacity, properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use.

The Brass Plus material with alloy backing, matched to a performance pressure plate, provides smooth engagement and extended life. That's the reason to pick a Stage 2 over something more aggressive — the sprung full-face disc engages like a normal clutch. No chatter, no on-off pedal, no rattle at idle. You give up some ultimate holding capacity and get a car you can sit in traffic with.

Rated around 425 lb-ft, roughly 400 whp. 9.5" disc, 24-spline on a 1" input shaft.

Fitment: 04-21 Subaru WRX STI — EJ25T, 2.5L turbo, pull type.

Break-in is not optional. 300 miles is required and 500 is recommended. Skipping it glazes the facings, and the kit isn't warrantable after that.

Flywheel not included. Worth adding a lightweight flywheel while the transmission is out — it makes the clutch last longer and drops rotating mass at the same time.

Kit includes the performance pressure plate, high-torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel-backed Brass Plus facings, release bearing, pilot bearing where applicable, and alignment tool. 90-day warranty against defects.
