CP-Carrillo Forged Piston Set — Nissan RB26DETT 86mm, 9.0:1 (SC7312-6)
A standard-bore set at 9.0:1 — the compression an RB26 wants when it's going to see real boost. Standard bore means a fresh hone on a good block rather than a bore job, which keeps machine work down on a rebuild that doesn't need displacement.
CP's shelf line includes features most manufacturers charge extra for. Dual forced pin oilers, fed from the oil ring, deliver double the oil to the wrist pin. Accumulator grooves come standard — a pocket behind the top ring where combustion gases collect, reducing ring flutter and improving seal, which puts more downward force on the piston. Pick lock grooves make lock removal straightforward during assembly.
High-strength aluminum forgings in a lightweight design, fully CNC machined and balanced to within ±1 gram so every piston in the set matches. Deep radiused valve reliefs clear oversized valves and high-lift cams. Suitable for turbo, supercharger, and nitrous applications.
