CP-Carrillo Forged Piston Set — Nissan SR20DE/DET 86.5mm, 8.5:1 Dish, PVD (SC7327PVD)

A +0.5mm dished set at 8.5:1, built for a high-boost SR20. That compression is deliberately low — it's what buys detonation margin when you're running serious pressure or a big single on ethanol, and it's the ratio a build chases when timing keeps getting pulled.

CP's shelf line includes features most manufacturers charge extra for. Double pin oilers, force fed from the oil ring, deliver oil directly to the wrist pin. Accumulator grooves come standard — a pocket behind the top ring where combustion gases collect, reducing ring flutter and improving seal, which puts more downward force on the piston. Pick lock grooves make lock removal straightforward during assembly.

High strength aluminum forgings in a super lightweight design, fully CNC machined and balanced to ±1 gram so every piston in the set matches. Deep valve reliefs clear oversized valves and high-lift cams. Suitable for turbo, supercharger, and nitrous applications.

Each piston is engineered using computer modeling, and CP's climate-controlled inspection department runs computerized electronic equipment built for the job. CP is a division of Pankl Racing Systems.

Specs: 86.5mm bore (3.406"), 1.260" compression height, -15.5cc dish, 22mm (.866") wrist pin. Sized for 86mm stroke with a 136.25mm rod.

PVD coating on the wrist pins — a hard, low-friction surface treatment that reduces wear at the pin bore under high cylinder pressure.
