Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit — Subaru STI / Legacy GT Spec B (15803HD)

The upgrade for a modified EJ that still needs to drive like a normal car. Exedy is the OE supplier for Subaru, so the Stage 1 is built on the same architecture that left the factory, with clamp load raised about 40 percent over genuine to handle the extra torque.

Premium organic friction material with high heat resistance and high-strength copper weave fibers, resistant to slippage and burst. The disc uses a spring center damper to reduce drivetrain shock and give smooth engagement — which is what produces the superior half-engagement feel this kit is known for. Drivability is close to stock; pedal effort is slightly higher because of the increased clamp load.

Specs: 240mm (9.4") disc, 24-spline on a 1" (25.2mm) hub, 3597 lbs clamp load, 472 lb-ft torque capacity. Pull type. Ductile casting. SFI certified.
