Garrett G35-990 G-Series II SuperCore — Standard Rotation (934123-5001S)

G-Series II is Garrett's second-generation update to the G-Series line, and the gain is in the compressor. New aero technology delivers up to 10% higher compressor flow compared to Gen I at peak pressure ratio and peak turbo RPM, with increased efficiency at high flow rates.

The upgrade path is the other reason to look at this. G-Series II uses Gen I compressor and turbine housings, so a Gen I owner can move up with just a CHRA purchase — no new housings, no re-plumbing the hot side.

Specs: 62mm compressor inducer, 75mm exducer, 65 trim. Turbine wheel 68mm inducer, 62mm exducer, 84 trim, Mar-M alloy rated to 1050°C. Standard rotation. Maximum allowable shaft speed is 140,000 rpm.

Calibration is required to take advantage of the increased flow. Bolting this on with a Gen I tune leaves the gain on the table — the extra flow has to be tuned for.

This is a supercore, not a complete turbo. You supply the turbine housing and pick the A/R for your application. Available housings run from 0.61 to 1.21 A/R in V-band, plus T3 and T4 options.

Oil restrictor (1mm) and water fittings included.
