GSC Power-Division S1 Billet Camshafts — 4G63T Evo 1-3 / DSM 90-99, 268/268 (7003S1)

Built for stock turbo cars through a GT30/50 trim, and the appeal is that they cost you nothing at the bottom. No bottom end loss over stock cams — nothing but gains, and they promote faster spooling of an upgraded turbo. Gains of 30-55 whp depending on turbo have been seen from simply bolting them in.

Designed for a 3,000-8,000 rpm range, sized as a 300-450 whp camshaft. That's the daily-driven end of the 4G63 spectrum.

GSC's 7000 Series billet cams start as cold-forged alloy steel bars — the steel is pressed into shape rather than poured molten into a mold, which gives a denser and more uniform grain structure. Turned from solid bar stock and ground on advanced CNC grinding equipment. Made 100% in the USA.

Specs: 268°/268° advertised duration. Intake 216° at .040" with 11.00mm peak lift and a 107° centerline. Exhaust 220° at .040" with 10.50mm lift and a 112° centerline. Tapped for the '98 DSM cam trigger.

Fitment: 1990-1999 Eclipse GST/GSX, 1990-1998 Talon TSi, 1990-1994 Laser RS, 1991-1992 Galant VR4, 1992-1995 Evo 1-3. 4G63T.

Idle is slightly rougher than stock — mild enough that this stays a comfortable street cam.

Upgraded valve springs recommended, though these work acceptably on stock springs within the stock rev limit.

One install detail: if you're using aftermarket cam gears — AEM especially — check bolt length. Some gears are too thick for the OEM bolt on billet cams, and a 40mm underhead bolt may be required.

Sold as a pair, intake and exhaust.
