GSC Power-Division Intake Valves — Nissan VR38DETT, 37.15mm STD, 21-4N Chrome Polished (2050-12)
A direct factory replacement intake valve set for the GT-R's VR38, in 21-4N stainless with a chrome polished finish.
GSC set out to create the best performance, longest lasting valves available to the aftermarket. Using advanced 3D design and simulation software they built a stronger, higher flowing valve head, then flow tested prototype heads in the specific application. With the materials used, there's less valve distortion at the face than any of the tested designs — and less distortion means better sealing under extreme conditions and more consistent performance through the life of the valve.
Three design details worth knowing:
Swirl polished heads for smoother airflow over the valve.
Back cut to reduce valve weight, which allows higher RPM, higher boost pressure, and more aggressive cam profiles without increasing valve spring seat pressures. That last part matters — lighter valves let you run a bigger cam on the same spring package.
Tip lengths adjusted so the application requires less tipping of the valve, maintaining proper valvetrain geometry and cutting install time when setting lash. The keeper groove is also adjusted to balance intake and exhaust spring pressures, which reduces shim use and gets the most out of GSC's spring and retainer kits.
Works with OEM keepers or GSC's upgraded locks.
Specs: 37.15mm head, standard size, 21-4N stainless, chrome polished. Set of 12 — one full intake side.
Fitment: Nissan GT-R R35, VR38DETT.
Important if the head is getting a valve job: this is the direct replacement length. If the head is being cut, use the "Short" version (2056-12) instead — the protrusion is shortened by .15mm specifically to reduce the need to tip the valves afterward. Ordering the wrong one means machine work you didn't budget for.
Exhaust valves are a separate part number.
