OS Giken Super Lock LSD — MK4 Supra 6-Speed, 220mm (TY033-HA)

The Super Lock uses OS Giken's patented pressure ring design for smooth, progressive locking. It's a spline-through-side-gear design, which allows fitment of up to twice as many friction plates as competing units — 28 plates in this application.

That plate count is the whole engineering argument. More friction surfaces means the locking force is spread thinner across each one, so the unit can run low preload while still delivering fully progressive 100% lock. In practice that means it behaves like an open diff in a parking lot and locks completely under power. Quiet operation, no chatter, no knocking sound LSDs are known for.

All components chemically heat treated and constructed from high-grade steel alloy. Gears are raw-forged for maximum strength. Clutch disks are precision machined simultaneously on both sides to extremely tight tolerances, resulting in minimal warpage. The LSD case is machined from a single billet piece to ensure uniformity.

Specs: 220mm (9") ring gear, 1.5-way, 25/38 ramps, 336 lock timing, 28 total plates, 12S preload.

Fitment: 93-98 Toyota Supra JZA80, 2JZ-GTE, USA-spec LHD 6-speed V160 with the 220mm differential.

Verify your ring gear size before ordering. The Supra shipped with both 200mm and 220mm differentials depending on year and market — most RHD and non-USA 6-speed turbo cars use the 200mm, which is a different part number. Measure yours if the car isn't a USA-spec V160.

Two OEM output shafts (Toyota 41309-24020) are required for installation and are not included.
