Skunk2 Pro Series Rear Lower Control Arms — Acura RSX / Honda Element, Clear Anodized (542-05-0205)

Direct replacements for tired OEM arms that maintain factory suspension geometry — so this isn't a corrective part, it's a stiffness and weight upgrade that doesn't require a realignment strategy.

Forged aircraft-quality 2024 billet aluminum, precision CNC machined, 25% lighter than OEM. That weight is unsprung and it's the mass the damper has to control.

The shape is the engineering. Extensive FEA testing showed conventional "straight and flat" arm designs concentrate internal stress risers, which is where an arm fractures. Skunk2's I-beam shape and tapered design is a direct result of eliminating twisting, bending, and those stress zones.

Multiple sway bar end-link mounting holes for additional tuning — you can change the effective bar rate at the arm rather than only at the bar.

Low-deflection polyurethane bushings act as bearings for quicker response and a more positive feel. Skunk2 also eliminated the tearing and un-seating that plagues fixed rubber bushings by letting the arm rotate freely about the bushing.

Steel mounting plates distribute clamp load evenly — many competitors' arms tighten directly against the aluminum, which over-stresses the material and works loose over time. That detail is why these last.

Specialty socket and hardware included — the new Skunk2 bolts need a specific socket, and it's in the box rather than being a separate order.

Fitment: 2002-2006 Acura RSX including Type-S, 2003-2008 Honda Element.
