The ID1050 is the injector most Subaru builds end up on, and the reason is that it isn't a modified production part. It's a built-to-spec motorsport injector from the Injector Dynamics/Bosch Motorsport partnership, developed off lessons learned on the 1300 and 1700 — so the flow data, dead times, and low-pulsewidth behavior are characterized rather than estimated. That's the whole value proposition: your ECU's compensation tables actually match the hardware.
1065 cc/min advertised flow. Corrosion-resistant internals make it compatible with all known fuels, with extended service life on corrosive fuels — meaning E85 isn't a compromise. Stable operation up to 10 bar with only 8V required for consistent operation at 8 bar, so it holds together on a high-pressure build and doesn't fall apart at low voltage.
Fitment: 2002-2014 WRX, 2007-2021 STI, 2007-2013 Forester XT, 2007-2012 Legacy GT, 2007-2009 Outback XT. Ships with WRX-16B bottom adapters and 11mm adapters. USCAR plug style, O-rings included.
Not plug-and-play — you'll either re-pin the factory harness or buy the optional adapters. Worth stocking those alongside; it's the most common follow-up order.
Roughly 700-750 hp capable on gasoline, closer to 500 on E85 at a sane duty cycle.
Sold as a set of 4.
