TiAL Sport Q Blow-Off Valve 50mm — Black, 2 PSI Spring (002578)

The Q is TiAL's 50mm blow-off valve, built around an aluminum body and a replaceable spring so you can match the valve to your setup instead of the other way around.

The 2 psi spring is the softest in the range, and that's a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. A soft spring is what you want on a low-boost build, or on any engine with strong vacuum at idle — a stiffer spring holds the valve shut when it should be venting, which sends surge back into the compressor and shortens the turbo's life.

Aluminum construction with a machined piston and replaceable seals. Can be run vent-to-atmosphere or plumbed back to the intake for MAF applications. Springs are interchangeable, so if you turn the boost up later you change a spring rather than the valve.

Choosing your spring: the spring should be roughly matched to your idle vacuum, not your boost target. Too stiff and the valve won't open when it needs to.
