Turbosmart Gen V WG45 HyperGate45 External Wastegate — Black, 14 PSI (TS-0553-1012)

A 45mm external wastegate and the highest-flowing gate of its kind. The Gen V range was a ground-up rework — the only feature carried over from Gen 4 was the mounting orientation. CFD optimized and validated in-house for maximum flow and thermal management.

Configurability is the headline. The actuator cap and base rotate a full 360 degrees for reference hose routing, so you're not fighting the gate's orientation to get a clean hose run. Actuators are interchangeable across the Gen V range, which means you can run a smaller actuator on this larger body when the engine bay is tight. The collar-locking system holds it all in position.

Liquid cooling provision keeps the actuator diaphragm alive on a hot manifold, which is where cheaper gates drift off their setpoint as heat soaks in. Strap-type V-band clamps, 1/8" NPT reference ports, ceramic isolators, and multi-angle machined valve seats.

Direct fit upgrade to all Gen 4 Turbosmart wastegates.

Sizing: 45mm is the step past a 38mm gate — the right call on a big single or a large-displacement engine where a smaller valve can't bleed off enough exhaust to hold your target.

Ships with the full spring range — 3, 5, 7, and 14 psi, with the 14 installed. Set base pressure where you want it without a second order.
